Singersroom: T.I. earned his third straight No.1 on The Billboard 200 followed by well received debuts from Jennifer Hudson and Robin Thicke this week.

“Paper Trail,” T.I.’s latest effort debuted atop the chart with 568, 000 copies moved in the U.S., according to Nielsen Soundscan, which is also the third biggest sales debut of the year.

T.I.’s big week continued on the Hot 100 where his latest single “Live Your Life” feat. Rihanna broke the record for the largest climb.

“Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna, the second single from “Paper Trail,” leaps 80-1, replacing the album’s first single “Whatever You Like” at No. 1; the latter leapt to the top 71-1 the week of Sept. 6 and remained there until this week. That makes this T.I. the first artist to replace himself at No. 1 since Usher traded in “Burn” for “Confessions Part II” in July 2004.

Rihanna Jets Out of LAX

When you’re as in-demand and internationally-known as Rihanna, a crazy travel schedule is just part of the game. And last night (October 5), she was spotted catching a flight at LAX International Airport.

The “Take a Bow” songstress looked cute and casual as she cleared the security checkpoint, sporting a plaid blazer with black slim fit trousers and a pair of Converse All-Stars. Click the pic above to access the full set!

Rihanna will collaborate with Indian singer

DNAIndia: Singer Aneek Dhar, who won the Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, is currently cutting his solo album Khwaishein. The big news is that he is collaborating with international singing sensation Rihanna to record a song for his debut album. Rihanna, who has belted out hit songs like Umbrella, Take a Bow and SOS, will sing a romantic number with Aneek.

Sunil D’Sa of Universal Music (producer of the album) confirms, “It is true that we are bringing the two artistes together. Rihanna’s songs are popular in India. We expect to record this song in less than three months. If we manage to work out Rihanna’s dates, we will also shoot a music video featuring them both.”

Ne-Yo talks about Rihanna

Ne-Yo is quite the gentleman, but don’t expect him to just accept anything he’s told for the sake of remaining polite. Ne-Yo revealed in a video chat on his Year of the Gentleman blog that the music business has brought out the worst in some family and friends, but insists it’s not because he’s changed.

Ne-Yo has made one good friend in the business: his labelmate and frequent collaboration partner Rihanna. “That’s baby sis. That’s little Rih Rih,” he gushed. The two have worked together on some of Rihanna’s biggest hits like Unfaithful, Take A Bow, and their duet Hate That I Love You. “The cool thing about working with Rihanna is that she’s absolutely so very much like a little sister to the point where even if we get into a disagreement about something, it aint never big. We don’t ever stay mad.”
